And for the record, in part due to the urging of *his wife*, the "Blog I misunderstand the most but wish I didn't" has been from hereon in renamed to the "Dave Cormier Award for Irritating Interestingness." Sums it up nicely.

@jimgroom I am hurt. It just shows how little you read the old edtechpost that you do not realize you were a recipient of a Nessie Award last year, for "Blog that makes me laugh my ass off and roll on the floor most often." While we are not so crass as to rescind past awards, you will find that the pass card you were issued for entrance into the exclusive underground lair no longer works. Ingrate.

@sylvia actually the winner of last year's (the inaugural year's) award for "Most Unsung Educational Technologist" was Chris Lott. I realize now, though, that YOU could have easily been a recipient, but that will have to wait until next year.

@davecormier I agree that we mostly agree Dave, and we could all do with making the commitment to engage in conversations with more open hearts and minds.

This award ceremony is starting to smell like the edublogs awards, where's my freaking nessie?! I will burn this blog to the ground unless you do a recount. How can D'Arcy be the best twitterer? He exploded his account twice, and says douchenozzle every other tweet. A Welshman over the red blooded bava? More Anglo-Canadian alliances against the US. Bryan Alexander is only in there to make it "look" fair to Americans. This is a setup, a frame, and I am gonna get to the bottom of this inter and intranational conspiracy!

DOWN WITH THE NESSIES!
