after November 17

Just announced on the JISC VLE list is this valuable resource for campuses undertaking large-scale integration efforts.

Basically a combination of pseudo-process framework, case studies and expert insights, the site focuses on the socio-cultural issues in creating integrated managed learning environments, and thus has sections on

  1. Why might you want an MLE
  2. How do you do things now
  3. What do you want your MLE to do (Requirements Gathering)
  4. What are the technological options
  5. Designing and MLE
  6. Implementation
  7. Embedding

In the email announcement it’s mentioned that “The aim is to provide a focus for a community of practice in MLEs, with participants contributing their own resources and knowledge.” – SWL
