This site is part of a demo for a talk on the “Open Educator as DJ.” It is meant to demonstrate one simple example of a workflow for sampling, sequencing and ‘performing’ with Open Educational Resources.
It is a Wordpress 2.7.1 site running the feedwordpress plugin to syndicate content from various clipping or ’sampling’ services like clipmarks and tumblr, and then running the media_rss plugin so that it’s feeds are in that format.
This then allows you to instantly generate a cooliris presentation from any of the site’s RSS feeds with one click.
